Welcome to BVV (Birmingham Vegetarians and Vegans)! Our aim is to promote vegetarian and vegan lifestyles through peaceful means. We normally meet on the 4th Tuesday of every month at 7:30pm at Carrs Lane Church Centre, Carrs Lane, Birmingham B4 7SX (opposite Moor Street Station and 5 minutes walk from the Bull Ring Shopping Centre and New Street Station) for a lively meeting and a talk or presentation from an invited guest. Check the Events Diary for times and prices. Also in our Events Diary, you'll see that we have a wide range of speakers lined up, and in addition, we also hold other regular social events around the Birmingham area. Veggie Guide to Birmingham - free download!
You can now download a PDF copy of the 'Veggie Guide to Birmingham' - totally free of charge! The printed version of the guide was launched at the Midlands Vegan Fayre in November 2007, but it's now available to everyone as a download. The guide features the main exclusively vegetarian restaurants in Birmingham, plus notable omnivorous restaurants, health food shops and accommodation. The guide is just a start and will be expanded as time and help permits, but at least Birmingham has something! To download the guide, follow this link.

Created and published jointly with The Warehouse Cafe, it features 12 mouth-watering recipes. You can get your copy mail-order or by visiting the Warehouse Cafe ot the One Earth Shop.
