Welcome to GreenVeg!

GreenVeg is a sub-group of BVV (Birmingham Vegetarians & Vegans) for people with a particular interest in all environmental and ecological matters. Our belief is that vegetarianism or veganism cannot be viewed in isolation and should be a part of a way of life that encompasses the environment and people (or as permaculturists say, earthcare and peoplecare) as well as issues like peace etc. As such, articles posted on GreenVeg are not necessarily about veg*nism.

Articles contained here are the views of the individuals that posted them and not necessarily the view of all GreenVeg or BVV supporters.

GreenVeg supporters can choose to receive news via email or post about relevant issues, and can of course use this ‘blog’ to comment on the news items posted by the moderators.
